Bangladesh Made Record By Making World’s Largest Human Flag,

Happy Victory Day to all. Today is the 42nd celebration of Victory Day for Bangladesh after earning the Independence through a 9 month’s battle against Pakistan in 1971. Today, Bangladesh has made a history, a Guinness World Record for making world’s largest human flag of any country. This great thought has been possible due to complete patriotism of the people of Bangladesh. Robi Axiata Limited and Bangladesh Army took the initiative to make this possible on the National Parade Ground on 16th December, 2013. From 1:35:00 p.m to 1:41:20 p.m. the whole world saw the biggest human flag ever made in this world. Bangladesh has done this job successfully.

Around 8000 people took part in this practice session.
Thus, 27,117 people made this possible by standing together for 6 minutes and 20 seconds with the national flag in their hands.

THE PREVIOUS RECORD: The previous record for this section was by Pakistan on 21st October, 2012 with 24,200 students at Punjab Youth Festival. Bangladesh has crossed the milestone with ease and now 2917 people ahead of the Pakistanis. What a great victory this is!
HOW IT BECAME A WORLD RECORD?
The previous record was set by the Pakistanis, now more people from Bangladesh attended this event to win the 1st place. The minimum time limit to achieve the record was 5 minutes. But Bangladeshi patriot people tirelessly held the national flag in their mighty hands for 6:20 minutes and made sure the record is set by Bangladesh! We are now the number one!
WHAT WAS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS EVENT:
The main purpose of this great event was not only making the Guinness World Record but also showing the whole world the unity and strength of all Bangladeshi people.
NATIONAL ANTHEM RECORD:
Today Bangladesh has created another record! More than 3,00,000 Bangladeshi people sang National Anthem “Amar Sonar Bangla, Ami Tomay Bhalobashi” at 4:31 p.m. on Suhrawardy Udyan. Millions of people also sang the anthem while watching live on television. The previous record was set by India with more than 1,00,000 people. Two Guinness Records in one day! Bangladesh can do more of that!
